A Little Kindergarten Girl!

My sweet Julie, I cannot believe it is here! I remember 6 years ago when I was pregnant with you sitting in our apartment in Denver, CO and feeling you kick me. I remember thinking about the various stages in your life-like starting Kindergarten- and how I would feel. I feel a lot of sadness, and a lot of joy and a lot of excitement all at once! I am so proud of you, and I am so excited that you are starting this part of your educational journey in a safe, christian environment. Staying home with you the last 5 years has been wonderful, and I hope you have been as blessed as much as I have!

Very first day of Kindergarten!! Mommy hugs before we left :0)

Logan ran over and gave her a hug. He will probably have the hardest time adjusting. He asked me about 4 times yesterday, can we go get Julie yet? I miss my sissy!!!

A few people asked me if I cried, but I didn't in front of Julie when we were leaving her because I didn't want her to be upset. She gets very upset whenever I cry, and I didn't want her to feel scared about us leaving her there with me crying! Travis and I got very teary eyed on the way home from dropping her off, and we were both very quiet. When she came home she said she had a great great day, and that she loves her class and her teacher. She asked me and Logan what we did while she was at school, and we told her we just missed you! and she responded, "I know you did!" Stay tuned for next week when Logan and Isabel start "school"

Julie started Kindergarten today! I am going to do a whole separate post tonight or tomorrow and post more pics and write my thoughts about it! so stay tuned for that! Doesn't she look so cute in her uniform for good ole' Harding Academy?! She was giggling in this pic :0)

Logan LOVES Mario Kart and Mario party, and we have a little gamer on our hands as well. Isabel loves to "bother" her big brother when he gets to play, so we have to give her a controller to play with too! we just don't plug it in

One day when it was 120 heat index, we went out at 6:30 one night to play in the water, it was still smokin' outside, as you can tell because my lens kept fogging up!!!! Isabel is a wagon girl, she loves it!












Travis and I have gone on a lot of dates lately because he has been out of town a lot recently! We decided one night to go out and go to Incredible Pizza Company! We had a coupon and so it didn't cost us a fortune. We stayed for 3 hours and had a blast! thanks to Sam and Bonnie for babysitting that night!

7 years!!!!

we went on a date last night, and my parents watched the kids for us. I wanted to just go somewhere fun and we picked red lobster! We had some yummy food and talked a lot about how blessed we are!

5) You are my best friend, and I can truly tell you anything.
6) You always know how to make me laugh, and have taken our surprises better than I could have ever imagined.
7) Getting us to heaven is your number one priority, and I thank you for loving God most and praying for us always!
