Life with 3 kids

okay this is maily for journaling purposes, but I am feeling a bit mushy about my munchkins!!!
A lot of people have asked me lately, "how is life with 3 kids?" I must say, it is a blessing in EVERY sense of the word. I am not sure why, but having a third child has been AWESOME. It was actually easier for me to go from having 2-3 kids than going from 1-2. I absolutely LOVE being a mom and I am so excited about how crazy, loud, chaotic, and busy our lives are, and will be for the next 20 years!!! I cannot believe how quickly time is flying by, and even though I am very tired a lot of the time, it is a happy and content sort of tired. Isabel is stiiiiiiil (notice the extra I's for emphasis, and you can imagine me drawing the word out in my southern twang to get my point across!!!) not sleeping through the night, and Travis and I are very ready for her to start soon! We know that she will... EVENTUALLY, and that is helping us see the light at the end of the tunnel. Watching Julie and Logan play has brought tears to my eyes lately. They are SO sweet and have gotten a lot better at not fighting as much. I know I mentioned in an earlier post that I have cried and cried about Julie turning 5 years old, but it has really helped me to cherish my sweet children even more, because when she starts "real school" in the fall, I know it will never quite be the same. ***Sniff***
I am also so thankful that Travis' parents and my parents all live so close to us, because I feel like my children will be blessed even more having such a positive and wonderful influence on a constant basis. Can you just imagine all the love?!! And the free babysitting and lots of memories being made with their grandparents is the BEST!!! We are truly blessed and thankful that God has let us "borrow" these sweet angels!

Cha cha the frog came home with Julie for a week! we got lots of pictures, so i included just one for your viewing pleasure :0)

**Gasp** Sleeping Beauty resides at the Carr house?! who knew?

My sweet little miniature sleeping beauty :0)

A sad face... she was tired of me taking pics, I just can't help myself, what a cute pie!!! we are loving this girl's sweet personality and easy going nature.

cheese!!!

Logan got glasses a month ago!!! He is doing sooo well wearing them and we are so glad that we noticed him squinting a few months ago and got it checked out. he is nearsighted and has a stigmatism. He asks to put his glasses on every morning and says oh great, now I can see!!! whenever we put them on him.

Julie looks so grown up to me in this picture. She looooves GAP clothes, (just like her momma!!!) and when I asked her why she loves GAP clothes she said, "Because I can read the word GAP so easily!!!" go figure :0)

Yes, I am aware that the Gators lost, but Isabel and I are representin'! We still love those gators... :0)

Julie turned 5!!!!!

My sweetest little angel turned 5 last week, and it was an awesome day! We didn't do any big party this year for lots of reasons, maily being tired and having a little baby topped the list. We woke up to a hot pink table cloth on the table with confetti and lots of doughnuts for breakfast, she got to wear her PJ's to school for pajama day, and grammy made cupcakes to share with her friends at school. She wanted to go to Joe's Crab shack to eat again this year, because she loooooves the macaroni and cheese there! LOL! We showered her with tons of presents and let her stay up late. We ended the day by telling her the story of her first day of life and how much we are so very glad she is our daughter.
I cannot believe she is five years old. I actually cried really hard that night because she has grown so fast. The time has flown by, and she will be starting kindergarten in the fall! She is already reading a lot of words, and her vocabulary is astounding! She actually uses words like dubious, complicated, and immunizations (instead of shots). Julie we love you more than words could express, and can't wait to see what God has in store for your life.
